Born in the hills of North Georgia, Greer'sGreer's creative calling brought her to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she found herself most drawn to and inspired by materiality and structure. These interests lead her directly into the SCAD fibers program, where she graduated with a BFA in Fibers focusing on color and material innovation. Greer is a multidisciplinary textile artist and designer using mediums such as paint, thread, vinyl, and yarn to create her work. The world of art has influenced her in many ways, including interning at SCOPE International Contemporary Art Show as well as working for the Savannah College of Art and Designs alumni gallery ShopSCAD. These experiences have been a driving force, serving as inspiration for her to create contemporary art, and being exposed to a wide array of disciplines have only furthered her interests in experimental processes. Greer will continue working with material development and innovation within the industry.
