“we live in a rainbow of chaos”
- paul cezanne
Born in the hills of North Georgia, Greer's creative calling brought her to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she found herself most drawn to and inspired by materiality and structure. These interests lead her directly into the SCAD fibers program, where she graduated with a BFA in Fibers focusing on color, material innovation, sustainability, and concept. Greer is a multidisciplinary textile artist and designer using her fine art background to bring meaning and life to product including footwear, apparel, and interiors. She uses mediums such as paint, thread, yarn, and digital processes to create her electrifying work.
The world of art has influenced her in many ways, after studying fine arts she was led to the PENSOLE X New Balance Masterclass program where she launched her career by landing a position as a CM designer at Timberland. Since then she has helped brands tell captivating stories thru product.
A few brands she has worked for include Cole Haan, Reebok, Olukai, and Xero Shoes. These experiences have been a driving force, serving as inspiration for her to create contemporary art, and being exposed to a wide array of footwear disciplines and have furthered her interests in experimental processes.
